Bethesda, Md. (June 20, 2008) – AssociationExecs.com, a division of Columbia Books & Information Services (CBIS), is pleased to announce that it will publish the 48th edition of Cordom Associates‘ 2008 Salary Survey of Nonprofit Organizations in the D.C. Metro Area in September.

Cordom Associates has published this comprehensive guide to association and nonprofit compensation continuously since 1979. AssociationExecs.com is taking over responsibility for providing this essential information on the salaries of more than 100 nonprofit sector positions in the D.C. area.

“When my clients and associates heard that I was retiring, they insisted I find the proper home for my survey so that this information can continue to be updated,” said Damon Cordom, president of Cordom Associates.

The 2008 Salary Survey of Nonprofit Organizations in the D.C. Metro Area has helped numerous associations and nonprofits determine the salaries of their executive and administrative staff, especially important in Washington’s competitive job market.

The report includes the average salary and salary range for each position at each organization. The results also include the percentage change in salary for each position from the previous year. Average salaries are broken down by organization budget, number of staff, business location and organization category.

A survey participant can easily pinpoint where its salaries rank with a personal identification code used in detailed tables and charts throughout the report. Participants also will have the option to complete the survey online for the first time this year.

“We are very excited to be carrying this publication forward,” said Joel Poznansky, president of CBIS. “In response to the need for an easy-to-use guide for compensation decisions at nonprofits, Damon created a simple-to-complete survey with very clear descriptions of positions, resulting in a practical report.”

The 2008 Salary Survey of Nonprofit Organizations in the D.C. Metro Area will be available in print form as a binder and in electronic form as a PDF. For more information on this upcoming publication, please visit t http://www.columbiabooks.com/servlet/the-48/The-2008-Salary-Survey/Detail.
