BETHESDA, MD (January 10, 2018) - Association TRENDS is proud to announce a brand new association services division and a revitalized website. In its 40 year history Association TRENDS has provided associations and industry partners with news and information. Since the acquisition of TRENDS by CBIS in 2007, TRENDS has continued to expand its offerings to include a robust line of training programs, advocacy resources and data services. Following this path of expansion, TRENDS has announced the launch of an all-new services division for associations. The new division will focus on four primary verticals; advocacy resources, data services, custom training development, and compensation report platforms.

“As TRENDS continued to become entrenched in the association community, it made sense to expand our offerings to include services. Associations began turning to us for assistance, making it apparent that formalizing a services division was a natural next step.” Stated Brittany Carter, president of TRENDS’ parent company CBIS. “At our core we are a data driven company with a wealth of internal data and technical expertise. That skill set, combined with the fact that TRENDS has spent 40 years working with the association community, uniquely positions us to serve the needs of this industry.”

In order to successfully deliver the best content, training and data to the association community, Association TRENDS is launching a new website complete with all new content, downloadable resources and a services oriented layout.

In conjunction with this new division launch, TRENDS is also announcing several new changes. Starting in March of 2018, Wesley Child will take over the helm of the TRENDS division from publisher Emily Howard who will be moving full time to run a sister division. With a larger focus on services, advocacy, data and training, TRENDS will also be discontinuing its traditional print and online subscription offering. TRENDS will continue to regularly publish content through its free online newsletters, custom reports and research findings as well as host signature events including the Salute to Association Excellence, Learnapalooza, AMS Fest and others.

“I’m thrilled to be leading the Trends division during this transformation. The evolution of our services offering and approach to content delivery gives us enormous flexibility to meet the changing needs of our association partners,” said Wesley Child, Managing Director.
