CPAs dominate Association TRENDS top honors

The TRENDS Association Executive of the Year and Association Top Vendor of the year are both Certified Public Accountants.

Barry C. Melancon, CPA, CEO of the American Institute of CPAs, New York, is the 2011 Association Executive of the Year, the top honor for executives of national associations. Read the full announcement here.

Charles F. Tate, CPA, co-founder of Tate & Tryon, a DC-based accounting firm that specializes in associations and nonprofits, was named the 2011 Association Top Vendor of the Year. Read the full announcement here.

Melancon and Tate will be honored at the TRENDS 2011 Salute to Association Excellence, Feb. 16 at the Capital Hilton in Washington.
