Columbia Books and Information Services Acquires The Salesman’s Guide

Bethesda, MD Today at Infocommerce, Briefings Media Group, a business information and management training company in Richmond, Virginia, announced that it has completed the sale of The Salesman's Guide™ publications to Columbia Books and Information Services of Bethesda, Maryland.

Briefings sold the guides to enhance its focus on delivering valuable business information and management training services to companies in the United States and internationally, utilizing online, print, audio, web, and live events. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Bruce Guzowski advised Briefings in the transaction.

The Salesman's Guide publications consist, four titles for sales people who sell merchandise to the hospitality market, in addition to of six titles used by sales people who sell merchandise to retailers and two titles which provide information to professionals and sales people in the hospital markets. The titles include Association Meeting & Event Planners, Corporate Meeting and Event Planners™ and the Hospital Phone Book™.
