Top Nonprofit CFOs to be honored at awards luncheon in Washington DC on November 3, 2021

Arlington, VA – Eileen Ramage, CFO of the National Association of Home Builders, will be honored as the 2021 Nonprofit CFO of the Year at the Nonprofit CFO of the Year Awards, November 3rd at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC.

Jerry Howard, Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Home Builders commented, “Eileen Ramage’s tenacity and innovation have enabled NAHB to withstand the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her efforts enabled NAHB to provide strong leadership for the residential construction industry during one of the most challenging years in the association’s 79-year history.”

The event will also honor the 2021 Association CFO of the Year, Dave Fitzsimmons, Sr. Vice President, Finance and Administration of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, the 2021 Philanthropic CFO of the Year, John Robertson, CFO of the Capital Area Food Bank and the 2021 class of CFO Rising Stars: Leila Green, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Conference of State Bank, Brice Hadden, Vice President, Accounting & Finance and MFA-PAC Treasurer  Managed Funds Association, and Tanisha Lewis, CFO of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

This annual event recognizes and honors the contributions of nonprofit financial executives who demonstrate a vision for operational excellence, innovation in finance and management, and exceptional leadership and commitment to improving accountability and financial reporting. 

Each year the CFO Awards recognize the often-unsung leadership role CFOs have in the important works nonprofits do, working generally behind the scenes as key supporters of their executive directors, to keep organizations moving forward. Honorees are nominated by industry peers and are selected by a panel of independent judges.

2021 Nonprofit CFO of Year - Awarded to an outstanding CFO, currently making a vital contribution to the leadership of a well-recognized nonprofit, as right hand of the CEO and mentor of the team - someone who has impact on the performance of the whole organization and whose stature enables them to serve as an example of all that is best in the nonprofit world.

2021 Association CFO of the Year - Awarded to an outstanding CFO, currently making a vital contribution to the leadership of a well-recognized association, as right hand of the CEO - someone who has impact on the performance of the whole organization and whose stature enables them to serve as an example of all that is best in the association world.

2021 Philanthropic CFO of the Year- Awarded to an outstanding CFO, currently making a vital contribution to the leadership of a well-recognized organization whose primary objectives are philanthropic and social well-being. They serve as the right hand of the CEO and is someone who has impact on the performance of the whole organization.

2021 Nonprofit CFO Rising Stars -. Awarded to a class of emerging outstanding senior finance leaders of nonprofit organizations, who have come to play a major leadership role, supporting the CEO with significant initiatives in the development of their organization.
